Wainini at Poipu is a golf course residential community in Poipu with 69 homes & homesites.  It's adjacent to Kiahuna Golf Village and behind Poipu Shopping Village.  Nearby are the upscale Shops at Kukui'ula, the high-end community of Kukui'ula which is still in the early stages of development, and world-class Poipu Beach Park.

This project was halted by the housing market bust.  A new entity picked up the project in a foreclosure sale in September 2010 and existing homes were auctioned off at the end of 2010.  Marketing began again in 2012 then was stopped.  In early 2014, it was announced that DR Horton will be building homes there under the name "Emerald Homes".  A Hawaiian Ground Blessing and broker preview is scheduled for July 25, 2014.  Contact me after that date for further information on what will be another exciting project in Poipu.

Access to Wainani is via Kiahuna Plantation Drive.  This road serves Wainani, Kiahuna Golf Village, Pili Mai, Kiahuna Golf Club, the former Royal Palms project, Poipu Shopping Village, and more.  It remains to be seen if additional traffic becomes an issue as the huge Pili Mai condo project comes online.

As of 2016, there are both homes and vacant land parcels for sale in Wainani.  Listings are shown below. 

A good alternative with many active listings in 2014 is the neighboring community of Poipu Beach Estates
