It has its own pool and BBQ area although most owners and guests prefer to the adjacent Poipu Kai Resort pool which is better for those wanting to socialize. Multiple tennis courts with a pro-shop are also adjacent to Kahala. The ocean side of the property is bordered by the Poipu Kai Resort greenbelt with wide-open spaces, tropical landscaping, and a meandering pathway to the beach.
