Poipu Kai Resort is located on 84 acres of Kauai's almost-always-sunny South Shore close to world-famous Poipu Beach.  It includes a mix of 355 condominium units and 94 homes/lots including Kahala, Makanui, Manualoha, Poipu Sands, Regency, Regency Villas, Bayview, Lanai Villas, Crestview, and Sugar Mill Cottages.  Also included is the Poipu Kai Racquet club with pool, and 8 tennis courts.  An excellent Poipu Kai Resort description  by the management company is available as is a Poipu Kai property map.

Area golf courses include Kiahuna Golf Club and Poipu Bay Golf Course, the former home of the Grand Slam of Golf, and the Kukui'ula Golf Course.

There are many excellent restaurants nearby with some of my personal favorites including Casa di Amici, The Beach House Restaurant, Joe's on the Green, Keoki's Paradise, Poipu Bay Clubhouse, and Merriman's Restaurant.  Others have made favorable comments about Roy's, Dondero's at the Grand Hyatt, and The Pointe at the Sheraton.
